Guest Guide
Helpful answers before you book your stay
This FAQ is based only on the current Longhouse Laiya content already available in the website, including pricing, booking, room, transportation, activity, and pet information.
How does booking work?
Guests can start from the Reservation page, select their preferred dates, book their preferred rooms, select add-ons, then view if their total spend is within the minimum required nightly spend for the schedule they selected. They then sign the Longhouse Laiya Terms and Conditions Agreement, then await confirmation from the Longhouse team prior to payment. Once confirmed by the Longhouse team, the guest then deposits paymnent to the Longhouse BPI bank account and uploads the proof of payment to the website. This is then confirmed again by the Longhouse team and a Guest Booking Confirmation is sent to the guest. The guest needs to print this along with the signed Longhouse Laiya Terms and Conditions Agreement and show these upon check-in.
What is the minimum nightly spend?
Each booking must meet the minimum nightly spend for the selected stay type: Php 40,000 on weekdays and Php 50,000 on weekends and holidays.
Are room rates added on top of the minimum rate?
No. Longhouse Laiya charges per room, but selected rooms charges as well as add-ons need to reach the required nightly amount for the property to be reserved for the guest.
What are the weekday and weekend minimum rates?
Weekdays from Monday to Thursday use a minimum nightly spend of Php 40,000, while weekends from Friday to Sunday use a minimum nightly spend of Php 50,000.
Can we choose only the rooms we need?
Yes. The project's pricing guidance says guests can select and combine rooms based on group size. The selected rooms still need to meet the minimum nightly spend for the stay type you choose.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Longhouse Laiya is presented as a pet-friendly stay and the booking flow includes a pets add-on. The pets page also says Longhouse Laiya welcomes pets and responsible pet owners.
Where can pets stay?
The current project confirms that pets are welcome, but it does not publish a separate room-by-room pet placement policy on the site. Guests are advised to refer to the detailed pet policies before reservation.
Is food included?
The current website content does not state that food is automatically included in the base stay. It highlights shared dining and kitchen spaces, but no included meal package is published in the current project pages.
Can guests bring food or catering?
The project does not publish a separate catering policy, but it does show dining hall and kitchen use, along with optional air-conditioning for the dining hall and main kitchen. For special meal or catering arrangements, guests should confirm directly with the Longhouse Laiya team before finalizing the reservation.
What rooms are available?
Current room types shown in the project are Seniors / PWD Room (Php 10,000 per night), Pocket Garden Room (Php 10,000 per night), Group Room 3 (Php 15,000 per night), Group Room 7 (Php 15,000 per night), Balcony Room 4 (Php 10,000 per night), Balcony Room 5 (Php 10,000 per night), Balcony Room 6 (Php 10,000 per night), Pod Room 8 (Php 5,000 per night), Pod Room 9 (Php 5,000 per night).
How many guests can Longhouse Laiya accommodate?
The current project repeatedly describes Longhouse Laiya as having 9 bedrooms, 34 beds, and capacity for up to 52 guests.
How do we confirm a reservation?
A reservation is confirmed after the guest receives payment instructions, completes the payment, submits proof of payment, and the payment is verified by the Longhouse Laiya team. The site specifically notes that bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and verified.
What payment process should guests expect?
Guests should expect payment instructions from the team, payment within the given timeframe, submission of proof of payment, and final verification. The current FAQ and booking workflow in the project describe bank transfer and proof-of-payment upload as part of this process.
What activities or shared spaces are available?
Existing project content highlights the resort-sized pool, lanai, pavilion, garden lawn, dining hall, main kitchen, and open-air gathering areas. Activities mentioned across the site include pickleball, basketball, mini golf, billiards, table tennis, karaoke, badminton, darts, console games, lawn games, and nearby beach access within Porto Laiya.
Who should guests contact for questions?
For questions, guests can contact the Longhouse Laiya team through the website contact paths, especially info@longhouselaiya.com. The project also shows phone contact in the site navigation and footer for direct inquiries.
What should guests expect for check-in, check-out, and house reminders?
The current project references check-in and check-out schedules, occupancy limits, property care obligations, quiet hours, pool and amenity safety guidance, waste handling, visitor controls, and staff instructions as part of the reservation documents and house rules flow. Specific clock times are not published on the current public pages, so guests should expect those final stay reminders during the reservation confirmation process.
